Good Old Fashion Butcher
If you are looking for an Old fashioned butcher shop, you came to the right place.
Over the years the Meat Palace has strived to bring in the best quality meat you can find. All our Beef is USDA Choice, and aged for at least 14 days. If you are looking to stock up, we also sell whole, half and quarters of choice beef.
We also have a full counter of pork; anything you desire from chops, roast, ribs to sausage. We have 17 different types of brats that we make daily. We also have 11 different smoked sausages that we make in house along with 4 types of jerky.
Old Fashioned means asking the butcher to custom cut your meat. You can get it cut as thick as you like. Upon check out, we wrap all your meat in freezer paper.
History
Meat and Poultry Palace is a historic butcher shop, in the west end neighborhood of Billings, Montana, which first opened in 1973 by Edward Hoem.
Vermette owned the butcher shop from 1985 to 1987.
In 1987, husband and wife, Gary and Nancy Pollock, purchased the shop and worked side-by-side for over 34 years servicing the Billings community.
After working eight years for the Pollock’s, Jason McKittrick and his wife Alicia purchased the iconic butcher shop in April of 2021, which today is called the Meat Palace.
What was true in 1973, is still true today: this family-owned butcher shop continues to provide quality meats at great prices, along with excellent customer service to our Billing’s community residents.

We start with the best quality meat you can get. We cut and grind fresh everyday, none of this pre-packaged meat that you have to settle for. If you only want one steak that's all you have to get. If you want it thicker or thinner, then that is what you will get at the Meat Palace!!!!
